CULTURA – Terms of Use

These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the Cultura mobile application and website (“Cultura”, “we”, “our”, “the Service”). By using Cultura, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, you must stop using the Service.

Cultura is a culture-focused learning platform that provides curated content on art, literature, and related fields. The Service is intended for personal, non-commercial use.

1. Eligibility

By using Cultura, you confirm that:

  • You are at least 18 years old,

  • You are legally permitted to enter into binding agreements,

  • You will use the Service in accordance with these Terms and applicable laws.

2. Account Registration

To access certain features, you may need to create an account.

You agree to:

  • Provide accurate and complete information,

  • Keep your login credentials secure,

  • Be responsible for all activity under your account,

  • Notify us immediately if you suspect unauthorized access.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

3. Use of the Service

Cultura grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the app for personal, educational purposes.

You agree NOT to:

  • Copy, reproduce, or distribute Cultura content without permission

  • Reverse-engineer or modify the app

  • Use Cultura for commercial purposes without our prior consent

  • Interfere with or disrupt the platform

  • Use automated systems (bots, scrapers, etc.) to access the Service

  • Upload harmful or unlawful content

Cultura may update or modify features at any time without prior notice.

4. Intellectual Property

All content on Cultura — including text, images, graphics, artwork, interface design, and branding — is owned by Cultura or its content licensors.

You may not:

  • Reproduce, republish, or redistribute content

  • Use Cultura branding (name, logo, app visuals) without permission

  • Create derivative works based on Cultura content

All rights not explicitly granted to you are reserved by Cultura.

5. User-Generated Content

If Cultura ever allows users to submit content (e.g., comments, notes, collections), you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide license to display that content within the Service.

You are solely responsible for what you submit.
Content that is illegal, offensive, or infringes on third-party rights is prohibited.

6. Paid Features & Subscriptions

Cultura may offer optional paid features or subscription plans.

By purchasing a subscription:

  • You authorize Cultura to charge your chosen payment method

  • Subscription fees may be recurring (monthly or yearly)

  • You may cancel anytime through your app store account settings

  • Fees already paid are generally non-refundable unless required by local law

We may modify pricing and features, but will notify active subscribers in advance.

7. Third-Party Services

Cultura may integrate third-party services such as analytics tools or hosting providers.
These services operate under their own terms and privacy policies.
We are not responsible for issues arising from third-party platforms.

8. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access if you:

  • Violate these Terms

  • Misuse the app or engage in fraudulent activity

  • Pose a risk to the security or operation of the Service

You may delete your account at any time.
Upon termination, your license to use Cultura ends immediately.

9. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind.

We do not guarantee that:

  • The app will always function without errors or interruptions

  • Content will always be accurate, complete, or up-to-date

  • The Service will be free of bugs, malware, or security vulnerabilities

Your use of Cultura is at your own risk.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Cultura is not liable for:

  • Indirect, incidental, or consequential damages

  • Loss of data, profits, or business opportunities

  • Issues arising from unauthorized access to your account

  • Failures caused by third-party services

Our total liability will not exceed the amount you paid (if any) for the Service in the 12 months preceding the claim.

11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of your country of residence, unless otherwise required by applicable consumer protection laws.

12. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time.
If changes are significant, we will notify users through the app or website.
Continued use after changes means you accept the updated Terms.
